Days after losing the middleweight championship at UFC 328 to former titleholder Sean Strickland, Khamzat Chimaev has booked his next opponent.
Strickland recaptured the 185-pound title edging Chimaev out on the scorecards via split decision. It was Chimaev’s first career loss. Last month, “Borz” inked a deal with Real America Freestyle (RAF), but when he’d debut was unknown.
On Tuesday, the wrestling promotion revealed “Borz” will face Dillon Danis in his RAF debut on June 13th in the RAF 10 main event in St. Louis.
Danis made his RAF debut in March, losing to former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington at RAF 07.
RAF 10 takes place at Chaifetz Arena and also features a match between top UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan and former UFC interim lightweight titleholder Tony Ferguson.
