The fighters competing on Saturday’s UFC 313: Pereira vs. Ankalaev fight card will officially weigh-in on Friday in Las Vegas.
The event takes place at T-Mobile Arena and is headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between champion Alex Pereira and top contender Magomed Ankalaev.
Pereira (12-2) won the 205-pound championship at UFC 295 in November 2023 by knocking out Jiri Prochazka for the vacant title. He’s defended the belt three times, finishing each challenger.
Ankalaev (19-1-1, 1 NC) hasn’t lost a fight since 2018. He fought Jan Blachowicz for the vacant title at UFC 282 and the bout ended in a split draw. After picking up back-to-back wins since the title fight, Ankalaev will compete for the championship again.
Ankalaev was the first fighter to weigh in and tipped the scale at 205 pounds. Pereira came in at the same weight, 205 pounds.
