UFC 313 is headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between champion
Alex Pereira and No. 1 contender Magomed Ankalaev. The event takes place March 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Pereira (12-2) won the 205-pound championship at UFC 295 in November 2023 by knocking out Jiri Prochazka for the vacant title. He’s defended the belt three times, finishing each challenger.
Ankalaev (19-1-1, 1 NC) hasn’t lost a fight since 2018. He fought Jan Blachowicz for the vacant title at UFC 282 and the bout ended in a split draw. After picking up back-to-back wins since the title, Ankalaev will compete for the championship again.
