To make their bouts officially, the athletes competing on Saturday’s UFC 294 fight card officially weighed in on Friday in Abu Dhabi.
The UFC 294 fight card went through a late shakeup when headliner Charles Oliveira was forced out of his rematch with Islam Makhachev due to a nasty cut and Paulo Costa was removed from his co-main event slot against Khamzat Chimaev after having surgery weeks before the event.
In true warrior spirit featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski stepped in to face Makhachev in a rematch and former welterweight titleholder Kamaru Usman agreed to take on Chimaev on late notice.
