Rashad Evans is making his return. According to ESPN, Evans, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, will battle Gabriel Checco on the Eagle FC United States premiere program on January 28 in Miami. Khabib Nurmagomedov, a former UFC lightweight champion, owns the MMA promotion Eagle FC. Evans (19-8-1) announced his retirement in June 2018 after losing to Anthony Smith at UFC 225.
