Conor McGregor has announced he is no longer pursuing the Irish presidency. McGregor’s campaign, centered on an anti-immigration platform, fizzled out as he struggled to meet the nomination requirements. In order to appear on the ballot, candidates for the Irish presidency must secure nominations from either 20 members of the national parliament or four local authorities.
