UFC Vegas 107 went down last night (May 31, 2025) inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, which saw the event lose its headliner seconds before it was set to start after Maycee Barber suffered a “medical issue” that required a trip to the hospital. In what proved to be the main event, Mateusz Gamrot defeated Ludovit Klein via lopsided decision, while Ramiz Brahimaj defeated Billy Ray Goff via first round submission (see it here).

Winner: Mateusz Gamrot
Who He Should Face Next: Joel Alvarez
Gamrot is currently ranked No. 7, but the Lightweight picture is booked from top to bottom, and “Gamer” has already defeated some of the fighters with empty dance cards. A fight against Alvarez might not make sense rankings-wise, however, it could be one of the few options at the moment. Alvarez does not have a fight booked, and the No. 15-ranked fighter in the promotion is riding a three-fight win streak and is 7-1 in his last eight.

Winner: Ramiz Brahimaj
Who He Should Face Next: Oban Elliott
Let’s just re-book this fight since it was originally set to take place on this card before visa issues on Elliott’s behalf torpedoed it. Brahimaj made easy work of late replacement, Billy Goff, so his turnaround time could be pretty quick if need be.

Winner: Dustin Jacoby
Who He Should Face Next: Modestas Bukauskas
Jacoby earned his first two-fight win streak in more than three years, defeating Bruno Lopes via first round knockout (see it again here). However, he has a way to go before he can crack the Top 15. Bukauskas is currently on a three-fight win streak and was last seen defeating Ion Cutelaba via split decision at UFC 315.

Winner: Ketlen Vieira
Who She Should Face Next: Raquel Pennington rematch
Vieira did her best to shake off the weight-management issues, defeating Macy Chiasson via unanimous decision to bounce back after losing to Kayla Harrison. Vieira is still ranked No. 3 in the division. A fight against No. 1-seeded Raquel Pennington might be in order. Pennington defeated Vieira via split decision back in Jan. 2023, so it’s a fight I am sure Vieira would love to get back. Pennington lost the Bantamweight title to Julianna Pena at UFC 307 back in Oct. 2024; therefore, if she wants to get back to a title shot, she needs to get some wins in a hurry. A fight against Norma Dumont also makes sense, but since she is on a five-fight win streak, she could be in line for a title shot against the winner of Pena vs. Harrison.
