Khabib Nurmagomedov says Islam Makhachev will challenge Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight title at UFC 322 from Madison Square Garden. Makhachev moved up in weight after having defended his lightweight title four times since beating Charles Oliveira for the belt. Makhachev’s move up in weight also came after he was initially expected to defend his lightweight title against Ilia Topuria.
