The Global Fight League (GFL) has announced their first match-ups for their event in April. 120 fighters will form six teams. Ex-UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman signed with the GFL following his retirement from the UFC. Weidman was not the same fighter after breaking his leg against Uriah Hall at UFC 261 in 2021.
