Chris Weidman has announced his retirement from MMA. Weidman retires as a former UFC Middleweight Champion. He secured the title after beating Anderson Silva at UFC 163. His career included notable wins against Kelvin Gastelum, Vitor Belfort, and Demian Maia. However, his career suffered towards the tail-end after breaking his leg. He picked up the injury at UFC 261 in 2021 against Uriah Hall.
