Ben Askren knows that his road to recovery will be a long one, but his outlook has remained positive, and now he has showcased that he is able to walk again in a recent post to social media. Askren was hospitalized in early June with pneumonia as a result of a mistreated staph infection. Later that month, he underwent a double lung transplant, which effectively is what saved his life.
