Legendary UFC fighter B.J. Penn has been arrested five times this year for various charges ranging from abuse of a family or household member to violating restraining orders.
Last week, Penn was taken into custody for violating a court-ordered protection order granted to his mother, Lorraine Shin. He later posted a $2,000 bail. It was the fifth time “The Prodigy” has been arrested this year.
Penn believes his family has been murdered and replaced by imposters. He was arrested in May and charged with abuse of a family or household member. He was arrested twice the following month.
Over the weekend, Penn posted a video to Instagram where he appears to be in violation of the restraining order, again.
“Temporary restraining orders were created by the government to steal it’s citizens wealth right in front of their face while they are powerless,” Penn wrote accompanied by a video of hm confronting is mother, or imposter mother, about finances.

Penn was specifically asking Shin about revenue generated from the UFC Gym, which he estimated as $7,500 a month. Shin can be seen walking away from Penn and refusing to entertain his questioning.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she said “Please don’t harass me. I’m tired of your harassing me. Do you want me to call the police again?”
“Just give me my fair share of the company,” Penn can be hard saying. “Let’s all calm down and take a deep breath… I’ll take my fair share of the company. I just want 51-percent.”
As the video plays out, Shin calls Penn ‘mentally unstable.’ She believes her son is suffering from a conditioned called Capgras delusional syndrome.
“I believe my son [B.J. Penn] is suffering from Capgras delusional syndrome (a psychiatric disorder in which a person holds a delusion that a friend, spouse, parent, other close family member has been replaced by an identical imposter). He believes I’m an imposter who has killed his family to gain control of the family assets,” she wrote in her original restraining order filing in July.
Penn once held the UFC lightweight and welterweight titles. He was inducted in the UFC Hall of Fame in 2015.
