Michael “Venom” Page is excited to return to combat sports and has many offers on the table.
Despite having an outstanding 5-1 record inside the octagon, ‘MVP’ was released by the UFC. Forced to look elsewhere, the Brit has been away from fight talks for a few days as he clears his head and assesses what’s next. On his day, he remains one of the most exciting fighters in the world, and the love many have for him remains. The proof of that is evident following his UFC departure.
After Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions hinted at talks with him, Michael “Venom” Page has been swarmed with offers from multiple potential landing spots.
“The offers are just flying in. To be very honest, I don’t think there’s one place that I haven’t got an offer from. Name anybody you want; they’ve all put their hands up to be, like, ‘I know what he can do.’ And as you can see, it has nothing to do with me not being capable. Although I’m not getting the exciting finishes, I’m still beating guys.”
“Some of these guys are ten years my junior, and I’m still faster than all of these guys. [I’m] still capable. So these guys are like, ‘Nah, nah, nah. We want him on our show.'”
Page continued:
“I’ve only literally just got back [from holiday]. And I’ve kind of put that to one side and said, let me just kind of rest. Self-reflect. Be with myself. And then kind of think about where I’m at… I’m hungry. I’m hungry to keep working.”
Not giving away too much, Michael “Venom” Page has opened up doors to every possible outcome. A move to Rizin excites him, while he didn’t have enough positive things to say about MVP MMA.
