The octagon is at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs. Guskov event. The fight card is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between No. 2 ranked Magomed Ankalaev and No. 9 ranked Bogdan Guskov.
The event will mark the promotion’s 23rd visit to Abu Dhabi. Ankalaev was originally slated to face former title challenger Khalil Rountree Jr., but Rountree was forced out of the bout due to injury two weeks before fight night. Guskov stepped up as a replacement. He was scheduled to compete a week later at UFC Fight Night 283 in Serbia.
Ankalaev weighed in first and tipped the scales at 205.5 pounds. Gustov came in at the exact same weight, 205.5.
