Fabio Wardley was supposed to face Jarrell Miller in a highly-anticipated Heavyweight boxing title fight earlier today (Sat., June 7, 2025) in Portman Road, Ipswich, England, but wound up facing undefeated slugger, Justis Huni, instead after Miller suffered a shoulder injury.

While many expected Wardley — the current British, Commonwealth, and WBA Continental Heavyweight champion — to have his way with Huni — the WBO Global and IBF Pan Pacific Heavyweight title holder — it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park for Wardley, who quickly realized he was going to be in for a long night.

For the first nine rounds, Huni proved to be the superior striker by tagging Wardley at will with power shots that took him out of his rhythm. While Wardley did have some shining moments, he was out-boxed through nine rounds. with Huni winning them all.

Then, in the tenth round Wardley did the unthinkable and cracked Huni out with a massive right hand that put him out for the count. Both men unleashed vicious right bombs simultaneously but Wardley’s got there first, sending the big man crashing to the canvas. Huni attempted to get up but couldn’t beat the count.

Check out some of the highlights:

It truly was an amazing come-from-behind victory for Wardley, who needed the knockout since he was down big on the scorecards. With the win, the Brawling Brit wins the vacant interim WBA Heavyweight strap while improving his record to 19-0-1.
