Dwayne Johnson’s upcoming film The Smashing Machine has just been picked up for UK distribution. Johnson plays ex-UFC and PRIDE fighter Mark Kerr. Kerr is a Pride FC Heavyweight Champion and a two-time UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion. The film explores his addiction to painkillers and narcotics. The film will also touch upon Kerr’s relationship with his love interest, Dawn Staples.
