Dana White has announced the main event for UFC Abu Dhabi, featuring a bantamweight clash between the interim champion Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov. The card will take place on August 3 from the Etihad Arena. Sandhagen has won his last three UFC fights since losing to Petr Yan at UFC 267 in 2021. His last fight was a win over Rob Font. Nurmagomedov is undefeated in the UFC.
