Gilbert Burns has issued a statement following his TKO loss to Kamaru Usman. Burns challenged Usman for the UFC Welterweight Championship in the main event of UFC 258. Burns had his moments early in the fight, even dropping Usman in the opening round. Usman recovered and dropped the challenger in the second round. Burns never got his bearings back and was stopped in the third round.
