A new holiday has come to the city of Milwaukee. To honor UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, the city has made August 12 “Anthony Pettis Day.” Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pettis has made his mark in the big city. Pettis is not only known as a UFC champion in his hometown, but he is also known as someone who cares and gives back to his community as he has grown through the sport.
