C.B. Dollaway’s UFC 203 nightmare isn’t over yet.

Dollaway, who was forced to withdraw from his fight against Francimar Barroso the night before last week’s event in Cleveland after suffering a back injury in a freak elevator accident, has yet to leave Ohio because he’s in too much pain to fly, his manager Dave Martin confirmed with MMA Fighting.

Martin said Dollaway is still in “a significant amount pain” from the incident, which occurred last Friday following the weigh-ins. The light-heavyweight met with a back specialist on Thursday and took two X-rays: one for his back and one for his neck. He also had an MRI. Martin is expecting to get those results on Friday.

Dollaway got stuck in the faulty elevator along with Urijah Faber, Fabricio Werdum, Yancy Medeiros, Brad Tavares and many others for several minutes after the weigh-ins. He was the only one to have suffered an injury, though.

A Wyndham Hotel representative had no comment when asked about the incident last Saturday.
